2017 Event Goals:
There will be a guest lecture by Amanda Spanger from the Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum on "Gardening in the Classroom". The primary goal of this event is to provide engaging lesson plants surrounding plant evolution and provide constructive ways to combat misinformation about evolutionary theory.
This event is free and will be hosted at NIMBioS in Claxton Education Complex #105 on February 25th, 2017. NIMBioS has offered to provide breakfast and lunch to workshop attendees.
